Teen Assistant

Teen Assistants are helpers in the clinic. The teen assistant may be gathering pets from boarding, assisting the veterinary team with treatments, cleaning up around the clinic, or answering phones. They often help with grooming and general patient care. They will be utilized to their fullest but the majority of this job is cleaning and restraint. Two positions available!

Care Coordinator

This person will be responsible for gathering information about patients in our care and relaying that information to the owners. Communication and organizational skills are very important in this position. This person will be the contact person for worried owners who are wanting to know how their beloved pet is doing. Care Coordinators need to be able to communicate with clients in potentially stressful situations.

Groomer

Our dedicated Groomer ensures that all their patients look their best. This can include haircuts, bath and brush-outs, shaving down severely matted pets. Groomers have the responsibility to their patients to follow their owners directions for a specific look or making recommendations for the overall health of the pet. Our groomer must be able to accomplish their tasks in a positive environment for the patient.

Vet Tech

Vet Techs are in charge of running ordered tests, monitoring anesthesia, and following doctors' treatment plans. They administer all medications and treatments in a timely manner, help the veterinarian, fill prescriptions, and perform patient care including walking and feeding. They will be responsible for performing x-rays, running lab work, anesthesia, setting up and cleaning up after surgical procedures as well as performing dental cleaning prescribed by the veterinarian. Our Vet Techs check in patients, talk with owners about recommended vaccines and procedures, and discharges patients to owners.Proof of Licensing is required for this position.

Cleaning Staff

Our cleaning staff follows the schedules outlined by the cleaning coordinator to ensure that all cleaning is done on a timely basis. This includes sweeping and mopping, removing trash, laundry, organizing storage areas, and other cleaning duties.

Receptionist

Receptionists are the front line of the clinic. They are often the first person to talk with a client in any situation. They are responsible for scheduling appointments for routine medical care, taking medication refill requests, scheduling boarding reservations and grooming patients. They are also responsible for checking patients out. This includes accepting payments for services provided. This job requires a high degree of attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to multitask.

Caretaker

Caretakers are responsible for providing care to our patients. This includes cleaning kennels, walking dogs, feeding and watering patients. We board and treat a variety of animals so this can also include cleaning litterboxes and stalls. Caretakers are a vital part of the vet care team but this is a high paced job that requires monitoring the overall well being of patients in our care.

Assistant

Our assistants are utilized in almost every position. Assistants are often seen assisting our veterinarian and vet techs in treatments and procedures, assisting in setting up for surgical procedures, cleaning up after any treatments or procedures. They can also be seen performing general cleaning of the building and facility, helping receptionists by pulling charts, retrieving patients after discharge, and performing care to our patients.

Cleaning Coordinator

Our Cleaning Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities. This includes developing schedules for cleaning of each area to ensure they are in good condition.
